in efforts of reopening businesses & buildings due to covid-19…

We’re here to help you open safely. Knowing that your customers, family, occupants, staff, students all have a clean, healthy and safe building environment. At Grooted, our background is WELL. We are WELL APs here to support you through this process. We take great love in working with IWBI’s COVID-19 Taskforce back in April 2020, along with implementing the WELL Health-Safety Seal which launched June 2020. Please see below for more information.

JUNE 2020

IWBI’s WELL Health Safety Rating

An evidence-based, third-party verified rating for all new and existing building and facility types focusing on operational policies, maintenance protocols, occupant engagement and emergency plans.

The WELL Health-Safety Rating focuses on six main health-safety themes, including:

  • Cleaning and Sanitization Procedures

  • Emergency Preparedness Programs

  • Health Service Resources

  • Air & Water Quality Management

  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Innovation

Informed by the WELL Building Standard and more than 600 experts from the Task Force on COVID-19, the WELL Health-Safety Rating for Facility Operations and Management helps buildings and organizations address the health, safety and well-being of their most valuable asset—people.

A visible indication of confidence and trust, the WELL Health-Safety seal communicates to everyone entering your space that evidence-based measures have been adopted and third-party verified. In other words, seeing the seal outside means your customers, employees and visitors can feel safer going inside.

APRIL 2020

the IWBI Task Force on COVID-19 and Other Respiratory Infections.

Formed by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) back in April 2020. It is comprised of global experts and thought leaders across sectors in public health, real-estate, healthcare, business, nonprofit, government and academia.

The Taskforce has helped provide new Guidelines for Prevention and Preparedness, Resilience and Recovery as well as enhancements to the WELL Building Standard itself. This helps businesses and communities have the tools and resources for prevention and preparedness, resilience and recovery in response to public health crises, like the one we find ourselves in today.

We are here to bring you the best information, strategies and tools to have the best built environment for your employees, business and/or tenants.
